CAL.215

Our philosophy is “one-watch-one-movement”.
It’s no small feat for a young and independent brand, especially regarding the financial effort. Nevertheless we went ahead and developed a new movement for our second piece, the all-new Mirage 34. True to the Mirage spirit, this movement continues our full-gold-construction approach, featuring an 18k gold main plate and bridges.

Rare are the extra-thin movements
that can perform.

Cal 215 vs Cal 233

Smaller & Thinner

Developing and producing an extra-thin movement in 18K gold is a technical challenge.
With the new Cal. 215, we have succeeded in making the movement not only significantly smaller but also thinner, measuring only 2.15 mm in height. All this, while maintaining a power reserve of 72 hours, thanks to a large barrel combined with the smallest balance wheel currently available on the market.

A SINGULAR LAYOUT

The Caliber 215 demonstrates how an asymmetric layout can enhance the performance of a movement with relatively small increment of footprint. With an expansion of the footprint by just 15% compared to a traditional circular movement, we were able to push the power reserve from 38h to 72h - a 90% increase - allowing this small movement to be big in performance.

FULL-GOLD CONSTRUCTION

We opted for an all-gold construction, which we believe embodies uncompromising elegance. As far as the movement is concerned, all compatible components (main plate & bridges) are made out of 18K gold. The winding and timing gears are made of steel for reasons of rigidity and torque.
